Old Halloween Costumes are freaking scary! I don’t know what it is about them but there is something. I remember being a kid we would put on a plastic mask of our favorite character that was held in place by a cheap elastic that went around the back of your head. Most times the elastic would snap so you gave up on the mask half way through the night. As you got older the costumes got better and more durable. Some costumes now last all day and night. Some people get right into it and spend hours preparing.

Some of these old costumes look like they were thrown together from what ever was lying around. Others look like they took months to make. Some are creepy, some are scary, and there are a few that are down right horrifying. As a kid I would not of wanted to come across any of these on a dark road. As an adult there are a few I would want to avoid as well!
